Unveiling of Two Tone plaque at Two Tone village in Ball Hill, CoventryLynval Golding unveiles his plaque. Coventry??s much-loved music legends have been honoured on a Wall of Fame for their outstanding contribution to the city's heritage. Plaques emblazoned with the first six names were unveiled on the wall at 2-Tone Village, in Ball Hill, Walsgrave Road, yesterday. One of the names on the wall was Lynval Golding who came with fellow band member Neville Staple. The pair recently rocked the stage with the rest of the band in front of thousands at Jaguar's Exhibition Hall last week. Lynval said: It's a great and wonderful achievement to be honoured in this way. I think back to when we wrote these songs many years ago - there was so much discontent - we felt we had the opportunity to be the voice of the youth and we're still able to get the messages across. It's 30 years later and we're still talking about it. Speaking about their return to the Ricoh last week, Lynval said: "The reception was amazing. I lived in Holbrooks which is just across the road from the Ricoh - I felt it was my personal homecoming. "Everyone enjoyed it and I'm really grateful for that. We're so proud of Coventry - we'll definitely be back performing again. We will never forget our roots." Indian musician Rajinder Singh, known by his stage name as Panjabi MC, was also honoured on the wall. He achieved global success with the record Mundian To Bach Ke which means Beware of the Boys and even collaborated with American rapper Jay-Z on the track. He said: "I love this city - Coventry is like the centre of the world for me. I had the chance to move to New York and London but I chose to stay here." Other names to grace the wall include Noel Davies, founder of The Selecter and one of the original 2-Tone DJs, the late Steve Eaton. Among the fans were Dave Eathorne, aged 41, and his partner Julia Gandy, aged 39, of Keresley, Die-hard fan Dave, who has a 2-Tone tattoo em"
