Soul Train DVD's Now Available!

Time Life proudly presents The Best of Soul Train, a 13-hour, 9-DVD set featuring one-of-a-kind, superstar performances from the best years of this iconic TV show from 1971 to 1979. Each DVD features the best moments from original Soul Train episodes, including on-air interviews with artists, the world-famous Soul Train dancers. An added surprise is the inclusion of classic commercials from Soul Train sponsor Johnson Products, makers of Ultra Sheen and Afro Sheen. These were some of the first commercials produced exclusively for black audiences.

The Best of Soul Train also features performances from a who's - who of classic soul artists, including Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, The O'Jays, Marvin Gaye, Gladys Night, The Isley Brothers, Barry White, The Commodores, James Brown, War, Sly and The Family Stone and a host of other musical icons. The DVD set includes more than three hours of bonus footage, including exclusive interviews with Don Cornelius, Jody Watley, Smokey Robinson and more. Some must-see moments include:
